The Farm
This small farm is located on the outskirts of the village of Alfândega da Fé, in Trás-os-Montes.
It is a region with a rigorous climate, with hot, dry summers and icy winters, which make it an excellent for growing olive and almon trees.
With about 9 hectares, it is mostly made up of olive groves, managed by our family for three generations.
The olive tree varieties are typical of Trás-os-Montes, such as the cobrançosa, verdeal, madural and negrinha de freixo, which are qualities adapted to the region and produce a different oil.
In addition to the olive grove, there is also a stone pine plantation, fruit trees and several forest strips maintained to create biodiversity.
It´s a place with great natural beauty, where species of plants and animals typical of the Iberian peninsula exist and live protected.
