We always treat the olive grove in the traditional way, never adding any chemical substance with the aim of increasing production or combating any pests or weeds. In this type of olive grove, the olive trees are located at such a distance that competition for resources between them is avoided.


To increase the nutrients in the soil, we apply organic farming techniques, such as cutting and burying grass and pruning residues and seeding plants that fix nitrogen in the soil and prevent soil erosion.


Quinta da Serrinha olive oil is a certified organic farming product, the result of good agricultural practices that contribute to maintaining biodiversity as well as consumer health.
